We are looking for a creative, resourceful Product Project Engineer to join us. The Product Project Engineer is responsible for interpreting market requirements into system requirements, designing solutions, and implementing solutions. This role requires good system architecture skills to produce documentations and standards. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. All efforts will feed into delivering mission-critical autonomous solutions for maritime vessels. Experience in maritime industry and power supply design is preferred.
Be Part of Our Success
- Manage and coordinate international R&D projects with consideration for scope, schedule and cost.
- Travel to countries to manage customers, coordinate and plan activities, and interface with international vendors and partners.
- Translate market and system level requirements and use cases into verifiable subsystem and component level requirements.
- Work with industry partners to evaluate and adapt their solutions to fulfil requirements.
- Work with internal engineering development team to define required solutions.
- Troubleshoot system and propose solutions to ensure high availability of system.
- Develop and execute integration and test plans.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Communicate with customer on system design and implementation.
- Conduct thorough analysis of unmanned system requirements and specifications to identify mechanical engineering needs and constraints, and translate high-level system requirements into mechanical design requirements.
- Conceptualize and design mechanical subsystems and components that meet the system requirements. Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed designs, conduct relevant simulations, and analyse performance. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the development process.
Qualities We Value
- Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Proficient in 3D engineering design and simulation software such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, ProE, and Catia.
- Good technical, creativity in problem-solving skills and strong reasoning ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
