You will be responsible for maintaining material handling equipment, forklifts, tractors, and various systems. You will troubleshoot issues, perform basic repairs, and work with vendors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair material handling equipment, forklifts, tractors, and other systems.
- Diagnose and fix equipment problems promptly.
- Work with vendors to ensure equipment is functional and operations are not disrupted.
- Perform basic repair tasks as needed.
- Ensure smooth warehouse operations by minimizing equipment downtime.
Requirements:
- Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in warehouse equipment handling and maintenance.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in harsh environments (cold rooms, high humidity, wet conditions, steamy areas) and at high elevations.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts or weekends, if required with extra shift allowances.
- Staff transport will be provided for candidates working beyond midnight.
