Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced NDT Technician Level 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and be proficient in various conventional NDT methods including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant (DP), and Radiographic Testing (RT). This role involves fieldwork and requires a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using PAUT, MPI, DP, and RT methods in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections and interpret test results to identify any defects or irregularities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and in proper working condition.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while conducting fieldwork.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to provide accurate and timely testing services.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an NDT Technician Level 2 in PAUT, MPI, DP, and RT.
- Proven experience in conducting PAUT in a field setting.
- Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to interpret and analyze inspection results accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
· Additional certifications or experience in other NDT methods such as ECT, IR or Tomography
· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to NDT.
· Familiarity with NDT software and data analysis tools.
