We are assisting an established Singapore-born Company catering to various IT Services Projects both Private and Public sector.
This role will be the focal point for Database and Server Management and Administration, monitoring, development and support for the system.
Position Responsibilities:
- The position will be key to configure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, resolve issues arising from the Database.
- Will be responsible for performing patch management for Windows and Database systems – manage security and system stability.
- Regularly monitor system performance and handle configuration and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Develop operational procedure as a guide in configuration and troubleshooting.
Position Requirements:
- Must have atleast Diploma in IT, Computer Science or the related field.
- 5 years’ experience in Windows and Database Operations roles.
- Strong background in Windows Service Administration – Active Director, Group Policy, PowerShell Scripting with knowledge in database management system – MS SQL Server, Oracle Databases.
- Knowledge in monitoring tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds.
- Knowledge in patch tools such as Ivanti, Tanium.
- Knowledge in containerization technologies – Dockers, Kubernetes and Scripting languages – Python, PowerShell is a strong advantage.
- IT Certifications in MCSA, MCSE and experience in cloud platforms is a strong advantage.
