The Company requires a professional to be responsible for the discharge of all aspects of its operations, and regulatory compliance thereof. All Ops functions including:
- Team management
- Execution & Risk Monitoring
- Trade reconciliation and settlement
- Internal Reporting
- LOD1 for Market Surveillance & AML monitoring,
- Controls and governance
Our ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to adapt quickly and can handle sensitive information confidentially. Desired personal traits include strong people skills, collaborative, able to work in fast-paced environment with a can-do mindset.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Bilingual, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A hands-on individual as this is an individual contributor role.
- Exposure to trading operations in financial institutions or fintech companies will be useful but not necessary.
- Be familiar with regulatory requirements from MAS pertaining to day-to-day operations (e.g., AML/KYC, unusual or suspicious transaction reporting).
- Self-motivated and result-oriented with good analytical, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, and detailed-oriented.
- A team player that collaborates well with other departments.
- Willingness to learn, improve, innovate and to simplify
- Strong work ethics, including the ability to speak up and raise important points to management’s attention.
- Experience in cryptocurrencies is a plus
The ideal candidate should have experience as a Middle-Office or Back-Office management in a financial institution.
