The Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) is a charity committed to supporting the underprivileged in our community through a myriad of services, including but not limited to offering shelter to orphans and youths at risk, facilitating subsidized medical treatments, and administering financial aid through various programs.

Job Summary: As the MTFA Volunteer & Youth Development Executive, you will wear two important hats, playing a pivotal role in both bolstering our community through engaged volunteers and fostering the professional development of our dedicated scholars. You will be a crucial link, connecting passionate individuals with meaningful opportunities, while nurturing the growth of our future leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement:
- Recruitment: Source and recruit volunteers through diverse channels, leveraging community outreach, online platforms, and partnerships.
- Onboarding & Training: Equip volunteers with knowledge, skills, and practical guidance through thorough programs.
- Coordination & Support: Strategically assign volunteers, manage schedules, provide ongoing support, assess performance, and offer recognition.
- Communication & Engagement: Foster open communication, address concerns, and organise appreciation events to keep volunteers motivated.
- Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate volunteer data and generate reports for analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Impact: Ensure all activities adhere to legal and organisational requirements while demonstrating the program's impact on MTFA's goals.
Scholar Development:
- Goal Setting & Support: Collaborate with scholars to identify professional goals and find suitable opportunities.
- Training & Mentorship: Implement training programs, workshops, and mentorship connections to equip scholars with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Resource Sharing & Tracking: Share relevant resources and track scholar progress to measure the impact of development initiatives, including volunteer work.
- Volunteer Integration & Cross-Functional Opportunities: Facilitate volunteer experiences for scholars to enhance their skills and contribute to MTFA's mission.
- Assessment & Reporting: Regularly assess scholar progress, generate reports, and analyse data to improve development programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on best practices and apply new knowledge to enhance existing programs for both volunteers and scholars.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Community Engagement and Development or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate volunteers and scholars.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
