Responsibilities:
- Performs all SQS work assignments in accordance with the standard work procedures, practices and specifications
- Review of Vendor Documents for Compliance to project requirements/ spectification and international standards
- Implements and adminsters the Quality Assurance Plan manifested by QA Supervisor for field and participates on a day to day basis in quality assurance activities.
- Review and approval of quality related specification, painting procedures, SAT and FAT procedures, NDT procedures, EIT related documents, pre com and commissioning documents
- Prepares and issue QAQC reports
- Organizes and perform audits and surveillance at a supplier's (or their sub suppliers) facility to verify compliance with qualification requirements
- Performs any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine and Offshore / Engineering or related engineering disciplines
- API 570. CWSIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector
- At least 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance working experience, preferably in the offshore and marine industry
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well conversant with codes & standards like ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, IACS, ABS, NR etc
