RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team in investing company's surplus fund and mitigating financial market risks
- Identity and recommend investment products in line with treasury policy
- Execute approved investment plan (cash, equity, fixed income)
- Engage with senior management in formulating and refining investment strategies according to changing market environment
- Monitor financial markets, keep up to date with financial risk products, identity risk areas and recommend hedging strategies, execute approved risk management plans
- Negotiate ISDAs, administer derivative counterparty documents, risk policies and counterparty mandates
- Administer investment policies, investment portfolio and investment accounts
- Oversee a team in handing treasury activities including
- Efficient cash management, cashflow forecasting and surplus fund deployment
- Loan portfolio management, collateral requirement, derivative portfolio management
- Arrange bank guarantees, LCs and short-term credit facilities
- Review capital structure, recommend intercompany settlement or dividend distribution
- Monitor and review treasury performance of the portfolio companies
- Develop and maintain the treasury infrastructure of the Group and manage centralized treasury operations including
- Develop, review and update treasury policies, processes and controls;
- Develop and maintain treasury infrastructure (bank accounts, TMS, ERP integration)
- Oversee and supervise treasury operations including bank account management, KYC, payment and receipts processing, financial transactions approval and settlements, month end closing and year end audit processes
- Drive projects to increase automation, efficiency and digitalization of treasury operations
- Manage relationship with joint venture partners, banks, TMS provider, external counterparties
- Lead and build a high performing team
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
- Holds a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury and investment management, preferably from large and complex organizations
- Well versed in investment and risk management products, direct experience in evaluating risks, formulating strategy, convincing management and executing strategy in investment and FX/interest rate hedging
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and prior experience in TMS (Kyriba) will be an advantage
