As the Senior Business Development Manger, GI Agents, you will be a key member in the insurance team working closely with both internal and external stakeholders in the insurance office to support the growth strategies of the entity.
Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain positive relationship with network of GI Agents through regular updates and engagements
· Provision of training, sales support and key liaison person to assigned network of GI Agents
· Facilitate sales and quotation request between internal and external stakeholders for all lines of business in support of the generation of business
· Proactively engage with assigned network of GI Agents through scheduled reviews of business performance, sales pipeline and sharing of best practices
· Responsible for end-to-end business results which includes but not limited to GI Agents recruitment and servicing related matters
· Ensure compliance of GI Agents in accordance to GIA and Company guidelines
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the General Insurance industry
· Strong understanding of various general insurance products and the agents market
· At least 3 years of experience in both GI business development and underwriting
· Strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills
· Good understanding of agency management and framework
· Certified in BCP, PGI, HI and Comm GI
· Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
