As Reefer Care Manager, you are responsible for overall end-to-end operational delivery of PIL reefer service to ensure safe, reliable and efficient carriage of reefer cargo.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement end-to-end reefer handling process
- Coordinate with commercial, trade, operations, equipment, claims and other related shareholders to ensure reliability of reefer product
- Reefer monitoring on land and vessel, including special commodity hyper-care, CA, CT, pharma, etc.
- Resolve reefer malfunction and other exceptions, incl. manage 24/7 emergency technical hotline for reefer malfunction
- Manage outsourced reefer service partners (long term to migrate to SSC)
- Manage reefer ship kit and accessories deployment
- Technical support to commercial, claims, trades, etc.
- Support the monitoring of reefer related cost in the network
- Manage reefer care team (Shared Services Centre)
- Lead stakeholders in reefer handling process
Job Requisitions:
- Tertiary education in science, engineering preferable.
- Preferably with at least 10 years’ experience in reefer equipment operations, maintenance, engineering and post-harvest cargo handling.
- Expert in reefer handling process like:Reefer container preparation, CA, CT, Pharma, etc.
Reefer monitoring, on land and on board
Reefer machinery operations
Reefer data analysis
- End-to-end shipping and intermodal operations
- Telematics technologies and application
- Post-harvest cargo knowledge
