Become part of a leading energy technology company as a Senior / Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Battery Energy Storage solutions. Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducts discovery calls with potential customers to identify current state, ideal state and required capabilities for a solution
- Provides pre-sales software demonstrations of our products and services
- Recommends solutions to problems identified by customers and potential customers
- Answers technical functionality questions about our products and services
- Identifies opportunities for our products and services, including training and professional services
- Maintains expertise in all our products and services as they relate to each customer segment
- Collaborate with colleagues to translate customer needs into technical proposals
- Assist to Design high-level system drawings and layouts for effective solutions
- Create bills-of-material and labor cost estimates
- Develop a deep understanding of energy storage technologies to support the Sales team
- Support projects from design to execution phase
- Conduct training sessions for internal and external teams on the company’s Energy battery storage solutions
- Provide technical support during client interactions
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
- Degree / Diploma in engineering Electrical or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy storage, solar, power generation, or industrial EPC works
- Ability to address complex technical challenges and communicate findings clearly
- Proficiency in developing technical and financial models using Excel
- Comfort with independent work and moderate travel requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English
- Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
