Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global FP&A, the incumbent's job covers:
- Collecting and analysing large datasets
- Analyse large datasets to identify gaps in the datasets
- Work with various functions to identify reasons for gaps in datasets
- Work with various functions to rectify data discrepancies and errors
- Work with various functions to implement solutions to reduce gaps in datasets
Job Tasks include:
- Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity
- Analyse large datasets to identify gaps in across datasets or gaps between datasets and source data
- Communicate gaps identified in a concise and straightforward manner to stakeholders
- Work with cross functional teams to identify reasons for the gaps
- Work with cross functional teams to find solutions to reduce gaps
- Work with cross functional teams to implement solutions to reduce gaps
- Work with IT and cross functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity
- Conduct regular data validation and quality checks
- Work with IT and cross functional teams on continuous improvement project on datasets
- Any other task(s) assigned by Senior Manager, Global FP&A
Job Requirements:
- Relevant academic background in finance / accounting / costing with minimum 2 years’ related experience.
- Fresh graduate with a degree in Business, or related disciplines in a numerate or analytical field and with strong data analytics background will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills. Needs to be able to work with multicultural teams and communicate with various global team members.
- Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP and SAP Business Warehouse an advantage)
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous.
- Fluent in business English. Spoken proficiency in Mandarin or other languages will be an advantage
