POSITION SUMMARY:
We're seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. As a key player in our expansion plan, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and transportation aspects of our projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless collaboration with partners, vendors, internal and external customers, and the successful execution of project milestones.
We believe that individuals with strong communication & analytical skills who can think out-of-the-box would fit the role, assuming they carry the right attitude and aptitude to learn, experiment and commit.
Responsibilities :
· Manage day-to-day operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, from pickup to drop-off
· Support sales personnel in preparing and publishing quotations
· Ensure timely job execution, accurate forecasting, and ownership of job scope
· Coordinate with multiple vendors and customers, compiling business information, including transport tariffs
· Execute contingency routing and resolution to minimize costs and meet service level agreements
· Effectively manage and escalate client requests to enhance customer satisfaction
· Collaborate with the project sales team to create action plans and resolve repetitive service issues
· Clearly communicate logistics execution and identify opportunities for process improvement
· Cooperate with various departments and overseas agents/offices to provide timely customer updates
· Develop and articulate a value proposition, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulatory formalities
· Establish processes for reconciling original shipping quotes with freight invoices and cost sheets
Requirements :
· Operational experience in the freight forwarding industry (merit-added)
· Experience in show/event freight (merit-added)
· Ability to drive accurate and timely decisions
