Job Summary
To manage the Warehouse & Distribution functions by ensuring that all transaction of Incoming and Outgoing are according to Customer needs and requirements.
To receive & store the finished products into warehouse(s) and dispatched both efficiently and cost effectively.
The position requires managing the order to remittance process as above and ensuring that the OTR Process is adhering at all time.
The incumbent will also make improvements to the OTR process where appropriate and manage the OTR Process to head up and drive to Exceed Customer Expectation.
Job Description
- Ensuring all the related procedures relating to Warehouse & Distribution is maintained to ensure quality services provided.
- Ensure that products, packaging and delivery satisfy customers requirement to maintain and enhance the company’s image in the market.
- To directly supervise employees, ensuring that they are fully utilised in their assigned tasks, working safely and not endangering either themselves or the product in any way are fully aware of what is expected of them through regular communication and on job training as and when necessary.
- Ensure that weekly planning of manpower for operations are done to avoid insufficient manpower to cater daily operational needs
- Ensure training and documentation of safety and equipment’s are recorded in Supply Chain Department .
- Ensure that all necessary safe operating procedures and instructions relating to all aspects of work within the department are prepared documented and periodically reviewed.
- Co-ordination work in between Sales team and Customer Service team and Planner Team to be in timely manner and prompt, in order to ensure efficiency of distribution process.
- Handling customers complain and respond promptly, to come out with immediate action plan, improvement and prevention from reoccurrence both internally and externally. (Customer Focus)
- Maintain high Safety standards, policies and procedures at all times in the warehouse
- To maintain excellent housekeeping in the warehouse at a high standard. To ensure aisles and exits are kept clear at all times.
- Develop a culture that emphasises pro-active problem solving rather than person centred retribution.
- To conduct physical stock count (cycle count) twice weekly.
- Monitor and control cost effective distribution cost weekly and provide an overview report monthly on the cost spent
- Ensure that only certified persons use forklifts cranes etc. requiring a certificate of competency
- Prepare equipment’s used in warehouse and ensure all renewal of equipment’s yearly
- Control movements of finished goods are updated in Rockbis (SAP) in a timely manner – Stock Management
- Familiar with quality Management System.
- Stock Accuracy to maintain at 95% monthly
- Any other job assigned by superior related to job description.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/ Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Sound knowledge in warehouse storage capacity management and space planning
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge in SAP, WMS and Sales Order Processing environment
- Good understanding in Warehouse Safety and Building Management arrangement
