Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review all technical documentation as required under the contract.
- Ensure seamless distribution of approved and latest drawings and associated documentation to relevant parties.
- Proactively coordinate with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to resolve all technical issues swiftly.
- Offer innovative technical solutions to address on-site problems.
- Ensure timely acquisition of all relevant approvals (e.g. samples, drawings) in line with the working program
- Actively participate in technical meetings, coordination meetings, etc.
- Conduct rigorous quality checks and attend inspections in factory and on-site settings.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or equivalent.
- Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering/technical coordination for Structural Steel Works specifically within Singapore's Steel Contractor industry.
- Demonstrate a fundamental grasp of RC/Steel structure construction and quality control for steel fabrication and installation.
- Display proactive coordination skills with architectural, façade, and M&E trades on projects.
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in successfully engaging with clients, management, and team members.
- Preferably, know BIM software/Autodesk Revit/Tekla.
