We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager to join our International Business Division (IBD). This role is crucial in advancing our GlobalConnect@SBF objectives, ensuring compliance with government-funded programs, and providing high-level support to SBF management and committees. You will be part of the International Business Division (IBD) in Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to help Singapore companies Learn, Land and Localise overseas.

This position supports SBF International Business Division in four key functions: (1) formulate and monitor progress of initiatives to advance IBD's objective, (2) ensure accurate, timely and smooth corporate KPI reporting, analyses, and updates for effective decision-making, and (3) enforce compliance and delivering of KPIs for government funded programme. (4) act as a key member of the secretariat team managing SBF committees related to Internationalisation.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Initiative Development and Monitoring. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Lead the formulation and tracking of initiatives to promote internationalisation for Singapore companies
  • Operationalise internationalisation activities to support Singapore businesses
  • Conduct data analyses and compile programme data for effective decision-making
  • Assist market advisors with queries related to GlobalConnect@SBF’s programmes, ensuring alignment with
  • EnterpriseSG’s requirements
  • Engage with EnterpriseSG to discuss and align on GlobalConnect@SBF and related programmes
  • Compile and submit quarterly KPI and cost reports to EnterpriseSG

2. Enforce compliance and delivering of KPIs for government funded programme secured for Internationalisation.

This includes but not limited to:

  • Conduct of GlobalConnect@SBF programme’s yearly audit
  • Ensure compliance on other government funded programmes secured by International Business Division
  • Setting process flow for reporting requirements and monitoring all business missions to ensure timely disbursement of fundings back to participants
  • Work with Finance department to match and maintain IBD’s internal accounting, ensuring accountability of the overall funding cost and expense budgeting cashflow and project spending records etc

3. Ensure accurate, timely and smooth corporate KPI reporting and updates. This includes but not limited to:

  • Serve as the secretariat for the Internationalisation Action Committee and GlobalConnect committees, managing quarterly meetings and tracking progress
  • Develop and implement an annual workplan based on committee inputs
  • Perform secretariat role for committee meetings, and track discussion progress for the committee
  • Manage professional secretariat support for senior stakeholders in the committee
  • Mid-term and full year corporate KPI reporting
  • Quarterly management reporting

4. Provide support to SBF Management on any other tasks assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline (business-related, accountancy and data analytics degrees preferred), or at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Accounting background and/or data mapping and analysis will be advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented and highly organised, effectively numerate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a team player
