We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic team. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be involved in some of our highest impact and most strategic projects. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box, motivate and get stuff done even if it seems impossible. The candidate is also expected to pick up in a short time frame as we work in a fast-paced environment and often push the boundaries.
The role of the Subject Matter Expert:
You must ensure that HPS customers (both new and existing) are getting the best of services that are in line with the expectations of the customers and from contractual agreements. You have to:
1. Identify and define the needs of the customer.
2. Based on the identified and defined needs, you have to develop the solution by using HPS PowerCard products.
3. Provide technical advice to the customers before, during and after project implementation.
4. Work hand in hand with the Project Team in planning and proposing a delivery timeline for the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand the requirement through different sources of information/documents available with the team.
2. Able to address customer Functional and Nonfunctional requirement needs.
3. Able to provide impact analysis in accordance with the customer’s payment eco system.
4. Assist customer with their implementation efforts as necessary to ensure successful product adoption.
5. Assist the project team in designing activities and estimation of the work required.
6. Assist in taking appropriate action for possible mitigation actions and or contingencies.
7. Must learn to identify information needed to clarify a risk or business situation, seeking that information from appropriate sources and use skilful questioning to draw out the information.
8. Conduct workshops with the customers by providing the best practices and methodology used in the payment industry and adhere to the standards.
9. Active participation in mentoring junior/new staff while also growing abilities and domain knowledge with active participation with senior staff within the company.
10. Able to lead and guide a team of developers in coding and unit Testing as per the program standards and guidelines.
11. Able to work in a team environment and demonstrate a willingness to help team members in achieving their project goals if required.
12. Personal ownership and accountability for delivering assigned tasks and deliverables within the established schedule.
Profile / Skills
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
· Must have experience in at least of the following domain: Switch, Acquiring, Issuing (Credit and Debit card, Secured and Unsecured Loans, Origination, Transaction Processing, etc.).
· It will be an advantage if you have previous working experience in PowerCARD products.
· Knowledge of the field of payment (ISO8583 protocols, actors, etc.)
· Proficiency in programming language, framework (C/C++, ProC, PL/SQL, JAVA, Unix SHELL …)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good team management.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Some travelling withing the region may be required.
