Key Responsibilities:
- Process a variety of transactions including cash, cheques, drafts, and transfers with precision and accuracy.
- Perform cash balancing and manage intra-day and end-of-day cash limits, ensuring all discrepancies are escalated promptly.
- Review and process necessary documentation for account openings, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough KYC (Know Your Customer) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks, with enhanced due diligence for higher-risk clients.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients and relationship managers to ensure smooth interactions and documentation processes.
- Conduct adverse news searches and analyze findings to determine necessary actions or escalations.
- Ensure all client files are accurately stored, organized, and maintained, adhering to data protection and confidentiality regulations.
- Prepare and compile various reports for management review, including monthly statistics and insights on operational irregularities.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary education or Diploma holder; relevant experience in banking operations and client services is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, cash handling procedures, and risk management.
