Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at Teck Whye Minimart. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
Scan goods and collect payments.
Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
Redeem stamps and coupons.
Handle cash register and ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly.
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
Requirements:
Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales.
Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners, money counters).
Strong communication and time management skills.
Customer satisfaction-oriented.
