As a Department Administrative Assistant, you are accountable to provide support to ensure efficient operation of the team. You will be responsible for coordination of department meetings and appointments (including logistical and travel arrangements), providing general support on matters related to organization and communication as well as the execution of general administrative duties.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform a broad range of administrative and clerical duties to support learning and development initiatives. You will use automated reporting solutions to prepare training metrics and be responsible for creating and maintaining learning items in Micron's Learning Management Systems. Additionally, you will assign training programs to required team members, manage training room bookings, provide basic IT support, handle training payments to service providers, and answer queries related to learning and development. You will also have the opportunity to support site-wide events, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in administrative and clerical duties, with exceptional attention to detail and flawless execution. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have strong communication skills. Additionally, you should be proficient in using automated reporting solutions and have basic IT knowledge.
To be considered for this position, you should have a Diploma or equivalent experience. Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or learning and development environment, is highly desirable. Skills in developing automated solutions will also be considered in the application (e.g. Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation/ UiPath, Tableau).
