As a Backend End Test Solutions Engineering Team Test Product Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for leading multi-functional teams through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. You will work closely with multiple Engineering teams throughout the company to ensure Product Integration execution, and production readiness. Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Facilitate and lead Product Teams comprised of representatives from various groups within the Test organization.
- Work with cross-departments to identify and close technical gaps related to new product integration.
- Develop strategic solutions and roadmaps through collaboration with internal and external partners. •Review and approve new and changes to existing MFG Package Outline drawings.
- Create and communicate Process of Record Status Documents for each NPI
- Maintain New Product Data, Product Team online sites, and other key reference information. Maintain Communication and Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary liaison for other areas outside of your department.
- Represent your manufacturing group at key interdepartmental meetings such as New Product Kickoffs, Project Teams, and Customer Response Teams (CRT).
- Present New Product and Strategic Product plans to department leadership and technical groups.
- Provide feedback from department Product Teams on product validation to external groups, and broker joint solutions between global technical teams.
- Occasional travel required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors in a relevant Science/ Engineering or equivalent levels of experience and education.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (MAM, SAP, etc.).
- General understanding of the back-end operations for component assembly, component test operations.
- Has agility to manage and complete prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic point of views.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Directs and coordinates engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices. Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and phases of test operations. Coordinates operational, functional and performance phases of tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Prepares technical reports of for use by engineering personnel.
