The Repair & Maintenance Technician will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primarily activity is at workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, pressure testing, implementing mandatory modifications and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance.
- Has responsibility for providing "hands-on" technical support to the production, and repair of equipment and/or tools.
- To maintain/redress tools as per procedure or as per supervisor delegation and completing relevant paperwork.
- Conduct mechanical and hydraulic pressure tests to ensure integrity of equipment.
- To prepare equipment and taking part in loading/unloading when sending/receiving equipment to/from the rig site.
- Operate overhead cranes, forklift, and perform slinging as per regulation.
- To ensure that workshop is always in a clean state.
- Organization of verification of metrology and equipment calibration
- Maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies at Weatherford
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems and fault finding.

- work hours/ day: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday + OT
