Key Purpose of The Role
We are searching for a Finance Business Partner (Manager) to join our Global Product Supply FP&A team.
This role will support the Finance Director to partner both Finance and Business leaders from Brand (Global, Regional & Commercial) and Supply Chain (Global) organizations (collectively, ‘Key Stakeholders’). The collaborative goal is to identify value-driving insights (including but not limited to, cost savings opportunities, style portfolio optimization, operational and financial guardrails to drive desired behaviors, etc) and shape framework or processes to capture these values for VF.
To perform the role well, the individual must collaborate cross-functionally and be committed to transform data into readable, goal-driven report that provides actionable insights for our Key Stakeholders to drive continued and sustainable growth for our Brands.
The individual will have the opportunity to gain a diverse experience in both technical and soft skills with areas in sourcing finance, financial modelling, dashboard visualization and project management. These experiences will provide a good foundation to grow into a leadership role with more exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key Areas Of Responsibilities
Reliable and Independent Business Partner to Key Stakeholders

  • Analyzing historical data proactively to answer key questions from Key Stakeholders (Descriptive & Diagnostic Analytics).
  • Analyzing data out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives Business Performance and identifying value driving insights for Margin Optimization Opportunities (Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics).
  • Identifying value driving insights for margin optimization and collaborating with Key Stakeholders to set Operational and Financial parameters to capture these values for VF.
  • Influencing, driving and facilitating cross-functional collaboration for Key Stakeholders to drive Margin Optimization parameters for VF.
  • Collaborating with other members internally and to work with Key Stakeholders to create and refine best-practice Reports or Dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, etc) based on data mining, analysis and visualization. This should supersede our current suite of quarterly reports.
  • Supporting in any ad-hoc projects

Steadfast Gatekeeper

  • Evaluate current organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets used within the team and helping the business stakeholders to automate/streamline their process.
  • Evaluate internal/business systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies and developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning of data.

Proficient Project Manager

  • Collaborating with internal team members and Key Stakeholders to refine the current Production Forecast from a 12-month static FOB Forecast to a Rolling 36-month Landed Cost Forecast.
  • Collaborating with Logistics and US Customs Compliance to drive VF’s First Sale Program.

Major Challenges

  • Overcoming system limitation/constraints and being able to navigate across multiple operating systems to provide analytical perspectives that supports Key Stakeholders in making effective business decisions.
  • Independent problem solving and capability to identify the “real problem” and comfortable with ambiguity or incomplete data to provide a reasonable assessment/output/conclusion.
  • Prioritization of key deliverables, team projects, coaching and training wider team and managing own development areas.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills with Key Stakeholders.
  • Cross functional/team collaboration within a matrix organization across geographies and time zones.
  • Agility and responsiveness to support finance leaders and other business needs

Your will be:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Business, Finance or Accounting related subjects
  • At least 7 years of working experience in related roles; Minimum 2 years of experience as Business Partner to Product Supply/Sourcing is a "must-have" requirement
  • Strong in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to engage with senior leadership
  • Ability to work autonomously in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working with Tableau and/or Power BI will be advantageous
