Position Details:
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Capital Equipment Team, responsible for managing projects and supervising machine installations across the Asia Pacific region. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure smooth progress of all project-related matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise project progress from initiation to completion.
- Manage installation, coordinate site activities with various parties, supervise installations, provide maintenance support, troubleshoot issues, conduct equipment start-ups, and ensure successful handover to customers.
- Interpret technical drawings to verify site requirements and coordinate with the factory in Shandong and customers across the Asia Pacific region.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements for onsite work.
- Collaborate with suppliers and sales teams to drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Generate technical and inspection reports.
- Handle all technical issues related to the company's full product range.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Engineering field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Management and Machine Installation.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software or equivalent.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in communication, reading, writing, and document translation from the factory in Shandong.
- Familiarity with various production tools.
- Capability to resolve technical problems with the factory, subcontractors, and clients.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel or be stationed overseas during project execution periods.
