Mission of the Position

The Talent Acquisition Director's mission is to spearhead scalable recruitment strategies across all Aureus centres, resulting in the hiring of top-tier talents, establishing Aureus as an exceptional workplace and results in the drive of business growth. This role demands a motivated individual to coordinate seamlessly across departments to align with company objectives. Achieving this entails implementing innovative recruitment strategies, fostering strong external relationships, and enhancing team satisfaction through thoughtful candidate selection and onboarding. By prioritizing these pillars, the Talent Acquisition Director supports Aureus's overall success and advancement.


1. Strategy and Targets: Develop and monitor hiring targets and OKRs, develop and implementing strategies for achievement and aligning hiring needs with organizational objectives.

2. Sourcing and Interviewing: Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates via diverse channels, conduct assessments aligning with company values, and ensure all team members maintain an ample candidate pool for all positions.

3. Elevated Candidate Engagement Journey: Deliver a high-level candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, by providing timely communication, feedback, and support, while continuously assessing and enhancing the candidate journey to reflect the organization's commitment to professionalism and respect. Talent Acquisition Director has to ensure all team members uphold this standard.

4. Events Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for organizing and conducting career talks and events aimed at attracting top talent, offering valuable insights into career opportunities at Aureus while nurturing connections with potential candidates through engagement with educational institutions and related organizations.

5. Advertising Campaigns: Plan and allocate advertising budget, control expenditures, and measure ROI, while maintaining a comprehensive calendar covering events and campaigns. Additionally, design and execute targeted advertising campaigns to attract top talent, utilizing various platforms and strategies to effectively reach desired candidate demographics and maximize recruitment outcomes.

6. Portal Management and Analytics Lead: Manage job postings on various job portals and platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling job descriptions to attract suitable candidates. Monitor job portal analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and maximize candidate reach. Additionally, build good relationships with vendors to maximize inputs and outcomes.

7. Educational Partnerships: Partnering with educational institutions, organize and spearhead educator events to engage potential candidates, foster relationships, and highlight Aureus as an employer of choice.

8. Referral Program: Strategize and refine the Aureus referral program to maximize internal networks and intelligence for sourcing qualified candidates.

9. Training and Mentorship: Craft and implement a robust onboarding program for new team members, covering hiring processes, company etiquette, and Aureus values, incorporating role-playing exercises and scenario-based learning, with timely completion of specialized training and on-the-job mentoring for goal achievement.

10. Workplace Culture and Etiquette: Foster a positive work environment aligned with company values by developing strategies to boost morale, address challenges, and organize staff welfare events, ultimately enhancing employee satisfaction.

11. Communication and Transparency: Ensure consistent alignment with company values through transparent communication across all channels, including regular huddles and more.

12. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track recruitment metrics, assess strategy effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement. Generate regular insights to inform decision-making and showcase talent acquisition's impact on organizational goals.

13. Continuous Improvement: Proactively gather feedback from stakeholders to innovate talent acquisition processes, while implementing continuous learning initiatives to enhance the team's skills and capabilities, staying ahead of recruitment trends.

14. Ad-Hoc: Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the organization.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Hiring Targets: Ensure the achievement of teachers and centre leadership hiring targets within the specified timeframe.
  2. Allocation: Ensure allocation targets are met and filled with Top-Tier Talents.
  3. Employee Satisfaction: Drive staff satisfaction through feedback mechanisms, achieving team hiring goals, and fostering a positive work environment with morale-boosting strategies and staff welfare events.

Hiring Criteria

  • Monthly Salary: SGD 7,000-SGD 10,000
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in recruitment, including 4 years in managerial or leadership roles.
  • Highly data-driven with a proven track record of leveraging data for recruitment decisions.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, translating insights into innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adept at managing large-scale projects concurrently.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, consistently meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership prowess, inspiring and guiding teams to surpass recruitment objectives and achieve organizational success.
