The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:
Brand Identity
- Oversee the creation and management of the brand identity for the Hotel.
- Be energized by real-time storytelling, capitalizing on moments to drive relevance and attention for the hotel.
- Oversee the production of all brand identity materials, collateral, and the development of new promotional materials.
- Ensure adherence to Paradox Hotels CID guidelines for all promotional and in-house materials.
- Work with Director of Sales and Marketing / EXCO to develop strategic plans on digital marketing with reference to the investments and timing to enhance website to maximize the revenue production.
- Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Marketing
- Responsible for monitoring industry marketing activities and will assist in gathering market intelligence.
- Analyze sales and marketing data and plan exciting marketing activities for the hotel.
- Direct the efforts of the marketing and communication team and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the hotel.
- Implements strategies to achieve annual budget and Sales and Marketing KPIs
- Define integrated consumer marketing strategy & calendar.
- Execute and optimizing of brand level campaigns and communications across all relevant online and offline channels (owned, earned, paid, third party)
- Work to define KPI’s and appropriate commercial targets for all marketing activities to measure marketing effectiveness and communicate results to business stakeholders.
- Monitor trends in all relevant media to ensure up-to-date market knowledge.
- Manage Content marketing strategy (Hotel content operations, Merchandising, Localization, DX optimization)
- Manage various agencies, partners, and vendors to deliver the marketing and communications strategy.
- Organize and provide support to the hotel’s corporate social responsibility programme.
- Manage the hotel’s sustainability programmes and promote the hotel’s sustainability philosophy to internal and external audiences.
- Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Public Relations
- Act as Brand ambassador internally and externally, as well as hotel spokesperson where appropriate.
- Design and execute PR strategy for the Hotel to ensure positioning as one of the best city hotels in the destination in the local, national, and international media, storytelling and highlighting Paradox’s competitive advantages.
- Implement tactical media relations activity in line with hotel’s business needs and objectives.
- Ensure strong working relationship with Paradox Hotels Communications Team for maximum reach of initiatives.
- Ensure hotel receives regular exposure in local and international media through print, online, radio & television through proactive and reactive PR actions.
- Manage the Hotels Press Office
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international media.
- Develop and write newsworthy and creative press releases to pitch to appropriate media.
- Create bespoke itineraries and host all local and international media visits.
- Draft Q&As and fully brief senior management for media activity
- Keep the press kit and photographic library updated.
- Direct crisis communications in counsel with Paradox Hotel Communications team & the management.
- Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Social Media
- Develop an overall annual direct marketing plan.
- Further the marketing team's creativity and shape identity on social platforms by identify and act on opportunities to experiment on platforms while prioritizing business needs.
- Set goals and benchmarks for social platform performance to ensure we are optimizing our investments.
- Ensure adherence to Paradox Hotels social media guidelines with global digital marketing team to identify and execute paid social media campaigns to engage both global staying guests and local audiences.
- Establish, maintain, and expand the hotel’s database.
- Develop strategic brand partnerships with relevant brands in the luxury, lifestyle and arts and cultural world.
- Develop and execute impactful campaigns and programs that drive earned media coverage and social conversation.
- Plan, organize and oversee all photography and videography sessions for the hotel to ensure the right assets are in place for media, digital and collateral use. These include major collateral photography, food and beverage shots and press release photos.
- Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Digital marketing
- Plan and executes all web, PPC, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Plan, executes, and measures digital marketing campaigns. Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Optimize website keywords/text to drive high search engine rankings and place pay-per-click ads that display based on search criteria entered.
- Ensure that all e-commerce platforms are maintained with updated information and photographs (including but not limiting to hotel managed websites, online travel agencies' websites).
- Manage paid media budget & campaigns.
- Lead SEO strategy for the region in close collaboration with Global Teams and oversees tactical improvement plan.
- Develop and execute social media content & marketing strategy in line with global strategy.
- Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.
Budget Control
- Prepare annual expenditure proposal for all marketing and communications activities.
- Forecast and allocate the approved budget as per ongoing activities monthly.
- Control all expenditure to be in line with the hotel’s business activities.
