- Responsive to the needs of infants and toddlers
- Creates a secure environment for infants and toddlers through nurturing respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them.
- Creates a quality learning environment through implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and programmes
- Builds trusting and respectful relationships and partnerships with stakeholders by actively engaging the children’s family and community
- Engages in ongoing professional development and reflective practice, and contributes to fostering a culture of collaboration and collegiality with relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Has been registered with ECDA and attained EY1/EY2/Infant
- Has either of the following:
- Professional Certificate in Infant Care certification (PCIC)
- WSQ Higher Certification in Infant Care (HCIC)
- Advance Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or
- Equivalent recognised by ECDA
