SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting overseas sales organizations in APAC region with building a strong logistics fulfillment capability (inbound logistics, customs clearance, warehousing and outbound logistics) to support sales growth. Act as project manager for 3PL tendering and contract negotiations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Support BU definition of their local logistics strategy and identify internal and external capability gaps.
- Design warehouse footprint that balances service levels and costs, both for B2B customers and B2C
- Negotiate contracts, incl. services description/rates/KPI’s that rewards exceptional performance.
- Ability to manage performance and build strong partnerships with 3PL’s to support strong business growth.
- Good knowledge and understanding of import, export, customs regulations and international trade compliance and shipping procedures.
- Can partner with Chinese factories and local country teams to resolve import issues and get containers delivered on time.
- Ensure 3PL’s execute regular reconciliation between physical stock and system stock through cycle counting and rigorous investigation of discrepancies.
- Coach local logistics team on how to manage daily operations with 3PL’s and drive continuous improvement.
- Minimum 7-8 years working experience in Logistics, managing 3PL contracts and performance.
- Experience managing a warehouse is strongly preferred
- Must have experience with overseas logistics management
REQUIREMENTS
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain related field
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, both verbally and writing
