Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Map existing customer relationships to identify new reciprocal buying agreements.
- Identify new customer opportunities to establish reciprocal buying agreements.
- Meet with key persons in charge of reciprocal trade at all potential clients.
- Conduct regular visits to key clients to strengthen relationships.
- Present business solutions and upsell opportunities to form strategic relationships.
- Present and agree upon reciprocal trade agreements with a maximum number of clients.
- Monitor and maintain existing relationships.
- Regularly review trading performance and processes to grow revenue levels.
- Engage necessary teams to realize both long- and short-term sales potential.
- Act as the primary point of contact and manage escalations to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate and assess current and potential suppliers to ensure strategic goals are met.
- Develop and establish pricing strategies for supplier engagements.
- Ensure competitive and profitable outcomes across all buying activities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align pricing decisions with overall business objectives.
- Develop and provide accurate and timely quotes to support the sales team in securing deals.
- Maintain and improve tools and processes for efficient and effective quote management.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing structures and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and competitive advantages.
- Monitor and report on pricing performance, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Analyze outcomes of supplier engagements and sales deals to understand success factors and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights to inform future strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize supplier performance and terms.
- Perform detailed market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions.
- Use market insights to inform and adjust supplier strategies and business plans.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business intelligence reports that provide visibility into supplier performance, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to support strategic decision-making and reporting.
