Job Summary:
- As the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and optimize the supply chain operations across the APAC region, focusing on efficiency and alignment with business objectives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, you will ensure seamless coordination to meet operational goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with regional business objectives and global guidelines.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to standardize and align supply chain processes across regions.
- Manage and optimize logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities throughout APAC.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize lead times and costs, ensuring on-time product delivery.
- Implement effective warehouse management practices to streamline inventory handling, storage, and order fulfillment processes.
- Conduct regular analysis of supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing risks and costs.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and customer demands to proactively address supply chain challenges.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics, distribution, import/export requirements, and customs practices.
- Proven track record in managing complex supply chain networks across multiple countries in the APAC region.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and achieve results.
- Proficiency in supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience liaising effectively with counterparts in China and Taiwan.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
