Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Management:
○ Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
○ Ensure that contracts are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Legal Advisory:
○ Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of issues including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and employment law.
○ Advise management on legal risks and opportunities related to business operations.
3. Compliance:
○ Monitor and ensure the company's compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
○ Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
4. Litigation Management:
○ Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
○ Coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
5. Corporate Governance:
○ Assist with corporate governance matters including board meetings, minutes, and resolutions.
○ Ensure corporate records are maintained in compliance with legal requirements.
6. Training and Development:
○ Conduct training sessions for employees on legal and compliance matters.
○ Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal counsel or in a similar role.
● Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
● Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
● Experience in working remote environments is a plus.
