Role
- Responsible for consolidating financial statements from all subsidiaries to create a comprehensive financial report for the holding company.
- Manages and reconciles intercompany transactions and balances between subsidiaries.
- Ensures that all intercompany transactions are properly recorded, balanced, and eliminated in the consolidated financial statements to avoid double counting and inaccuracies.
- Ensures that all financial practices and reports comply with local and international accounting standards
- Preparation of tax filings, coordinating with auditors, and staying updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assists in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Preparation of journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all financial data is accurately reflected in the financial statements.
- Provides financial analysis and support for internal reporting needs.
- Generating financial reports, analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies, and providing insights to management and the Financial Controller.
Requirements
- Recognized university degree in Accountancy, CPA or equivalent
- At least 3-7 years of working experience handling full-set account
- Strong financial competency, analytical & problem-solving skills
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Audit experience would be beneficial but is not required.
