1) Develop the design & construction teams, manage projects in a structured and programmed manner and provide direction and exercise control over technical and commercial matters.
2. Maintain good industrial, contractual and commercial relations at all levels within the area of
responsibility, including clients and other bodies.
3. Lead the project team and assist site manager to general workers to the project success and
completion on time without compromising safety and quality and ensure daily operations run
smoothly and efficiently.
4. Familiar with details on contracts awarded, its technical specification, bill of quantities and prices
and control site team by ensuring technical specification and drawings given are compiled within
time and quality standards.
5. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and
performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
6. Informal meeting with clients/main contractor management to resolve any conflicts and
feedbacks from them to maintain clients/main contractor relationship.
7. Liaising with project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define
the specified requirements.
8. Ensuring all material procured follow the contract specification and conduct inspection to
assure that the construction is done in full accordance with the plans and specifications.
9. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning
personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from specialist sub-contractors.
10. Preparing site organization chart, site layout, program chart, temporary facilities and sequence of
work.
11. Assist in sourcing for sub-contractors, negotiation of pricings and finalization of contracts and
keeping within the cost budgets.
12. Ensure all consultant / Client instruction are properly documented and disseminate to subordinates
and sub-contractors.
13. Review contact terms when discrepancies occurred with main contractor or sub-contractors.
14. Factory visit to verify supplier capabilities to comply our requirement in term of quality and
schedule, monitoring of vendor/subcontractor for fabrication schedule and quality control.
15. Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site during
the construction stage.
16. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the
client/owner or architect.
17. Implement and provide direction in construction planning, co-ordinate works, liaise with EPC
contractor, government authorities, clients and consultants to ensure overall construction progress
base on schedule and work done according to the approved drawings.
