A VP Client Executive, within our Prime Services organization, is a senior-level position acting as the primary client relationship manager for our alternative investment clients. The role's primary objective is to act as dedicated strategic client partner to assist clients in successfully navigating the spectrum of our global market access offering, with a particular focus on APAC Equity / Equity Swap products.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day service / CRM, client satisfaction & client profitability
- Perform regular client reviews to gauge overall client satisfaction and coordinate responses to client concerns
- Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services and partner with support groups and client to ensure Citi is a top 3 provider
- Drive organic growth through identification and execution of cross-selling opportunities
- Lead strong governance and controls
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
- Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- 5+ years of Prime front office experience
- Extensive experience of equity financing (both cash and synthetic) required
- Comprehensive cross-product knowledge covering equities, fixed income, listed derivatives & FX
- Comprehensive knowledge of the risk and control environment impacting Citi
- Proven self-motivation and organizational skills
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
