Purpose of the role:

The role primarily focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing leads, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and converting opportunities into profitable contracts. It involves thoroughly understanding our services, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs, and securing new members and subscribers to supplementary services. Effective communication, a customer-focused approach, and a proactive attitude are essential.

  • Discover and engage potential clients, tapping into both new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Reach out to prospects through dynamic cold calls, engaging emails, and strategic networking.
  • Qualify leads and arrange meetings to move opportunities forward.
  • Partner with your team to craft top-notch, profitable, and contractually sound proposals and presentations.
  • Navigate Company procedures (e.g., Financial Authority Matrix) to ensure compliance in contracts, negotiations, and pricing.
  • Keep precise records of client interactions and leads in Company's CRM system.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term success.
  • Oversee additional crucial relationships within your region, coordinating effectively with other stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking industry trends and competitor movements.
  • Represent Company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our expertise.
  • Act as the lead sponsor for bids and tenders, collaborating with the Tender/Proposals Team to ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance with policies.
  • Support the team in handling large tenders when needed.
  • Contribute to and execute regional and country-specific sales plans, driving their successful implementation.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly handling inquiries and following up diligently.
  • Embrace travel to connect with prospective and new customers/members.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices, promoting continuous improvement for staff and partners.
  • Maintain robust quality systems and processes to ensure effective business management.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and company policies, and execute any additional tasks assigned by management.

Additional responsibilities

  • Meeting budgeted revenue targets for PTC and ensuring that the APAC PTC business, at a minimum, reaches financial break-even.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan marketing activities within agreed budgets, aiming to meet or exceed target sales volumes and revenues within established timelines. Ensure the Training section of the company website is regularly updated in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
  • Handle and closely follow up on all PTC sales enquiries via email, telephone, and personal visits when necessary.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Business Development Teams to carry out market research, customer surveys, and competitor analysis, staying informed about general market conditions to continuously refine the Sales plan for business growth.
  • Maintain the CRM database with current information on customers who have utilized or may need our Training services.
  • Support the APAC Preparedness Solutions Manager in budget preparation for PTC and provide advice on pricing strategy in line with Market Positioning.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in business, sales or marketing or related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous success and experience managing client accounts, particularly achieving genuine sales targets
  • Proactive attitude and ability to undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
