Responsibilities
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organised Senior / Logistics Operations Executive to be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and managing third-party logistics providers, driving process improvements to increase performance and quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party logistics companies and port authorities to ensure that customers’ needs are met effectively and competitively;
- Supervise and support third-party logistics warehousing, to ensure that targets and contractual obligations are met;
- Coordinate import and export operations, ensuring all necessary local licenses and permits are obtained through collaboration with stakeholders and customs brokers;
- Plan and facilitate inventory activities;
- Coordinate budget analysis for logistics operations, including assessing changes in costs to minimize operational impact;
- Optimise operational costs, to ensure that budgets are met;
- Identify areas for process improvement in logistics, to drive performance excellence;
- Develop quality management measures to improve quality standards;
- Manage warehouse safety activities to ensure compliance, facilitating relevant discussions for assessments and risk management;
- Obtain insights from logistics data for continuous improvement.;
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management;
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations;
- Knowledge of customs clearance operations and management; Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to review and improve processes to support continuous improvement initiatives;
- Strong health and safety knowledge and awareness;
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
