Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise front desk staff, ensuring adequate shift coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Greet and welcome guests, handle complaints and ensure high guest satisfaction.
- Oversee check-in/check-out processes, manage reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping.
- Monitor and maintain financial records, including cash handling and billing.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenues, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other departments to address guest needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate hotel policies and guest requirements to staff.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to guests.
- Support the sales team in maximizing room occupancy and revenue.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front desk operations,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Protel).
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
