About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic start up with a growing portfolio of hospitality and F&B venues across the region. To support the continuous growth, we are looking for an Accountant with a regional focus.
Job Description
- Manage timely and accurate month-end closing, financial reporting, and performance analysis for various entities, ensuring compliance with local standards
- Review and analyze management accounts prepared by external firms and prepare internal reports for Australian entities
- Analyze hotel operator accounts, prepare consolidated accounts, and handle tax matters for Australian hotels
- Oversee regulatory compliance for Japan entities (TMK structure) and ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies
- Manage cash flow, prepare monthly projections, participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, and handle project budgets for hotel refurbishments
- Calculate and report loan covenant compliance to banks
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, and assist with new process and system implementation
- Support new entity setup, handle ad-hoc assignments, and assist with business acquisitions
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- 5 years of relevant experience in real estate and hotel management companies
- Experience with Japan's TMK structure
- Good team player, self-discipline, meticulous, attentive, committed, and able to work independently
