Contract Duration: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Working Hours: - Mondays to Thursdays: 7 am to 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 7 am to 4 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- No service on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Objective:
To support the Nutrition and Food Science department by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the efficient operation of Food Labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general cleanliness of equipment and facilities in the Cookery Rooms.
- Assist teachers in preparing ingredients for practical lessons, including mincing meat and measuring ingredients.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of ingredients in Food Labs.
- Clean and clear Food Labs after lessons, including workbenches, sinks, floors, and rubbish disposal.
- Maintain overall cleanliness of equipment and designated rooms.
- Perform any additional relevant duties as assigned by school supervisors and leaders.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to speak and understand simple English.
- Completed at least primary school education.
- Preferably experience as an NFS Assistant in educational settings.
- Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness when handling food.
- Traits such as service excellence, meticulousness, and efficiency are preferred.
- If not a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, must possess a valid Employment Pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower.
