Key Responsibilities
- Transporting goods and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Checking of goods and materials before and after delivery
- Documentation of delivery orders
- Assisting with loading and unloading
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
- Ensure vehicle is in good operating condition and inform company if any maintenance/repair is required.
More information
- Valid class 3 and class 4 driving license is a must.
- Clean driving record.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
- The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
- Good coordination and organizaton skills
- Able to work well in a team
- Punctual and reliable.
- willing to work on the weekend and public holidays
- Willing to assist with loading and unloading
