As an Associate Engineer specializing in Hardware for Barcode, Card, and RFID Systems, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of hardware components within these systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with senior engineers and technical teams to design and develop hardware solutions for barcode scanners, card readers, RFID readers, and related peripherals.
- Conducting research and evaluating hardware components and technologies to recommend optimal solutions for client requirements.
- Assisting in the testing, installation, and configuration of hardware components, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues in barcode, card, and RFID systems, both remotely and on-site.
- Documenting hardware configurations, technical specifications, and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Conducting training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of hardware components.
- Contributing to the improvement of hardware design processes and procedures to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in hardware design and implementation.
Requirements:
- Study in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge and experience in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting, preferably in barcode, card, and RFID systems.
- Proficiency in evaluating and selecting hardware components such as sensors, antennas, processors, and communication interfaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders..
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Network set up and troubleshooting experienced is preferred.
