Project Manager (PMO) - 1-year contract
We're hiring a Project Management Office (PMO) Executive. You'll collaborate closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and team leads to drive business transformation.
Strategic Planning and Governance:
- Work with the CIO and senior management to standardize project management practices.
- Support the CIO with scheduling and presentations for stakeholder meetings.
- Monitor progress of technology strategy programs and projects.
- Develop best practice templates for team-wide use.
- Ensure projects align with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain technology governance frameworks.
- Provide secretariat support for technology-related committees.
Project Management:
- Create executive-level presentations for strategic programs.
- Establish standards for program and project management.
- Use project management tools to track project status and milestones.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams for on-time and within-budget delivery.
Financial Management:
- Support cost management initiatives.
- Assist in annual budget planning.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Implement financial controls for cost efficiency.
People Planning and Management:
- Collaborate with CIO and HR on talent acquisition.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
Communication and Engagement:
- Manage change and awareness activities across business teams.
- Ensure transparent communication of project goals and outcomes.
- Organize training sessions to enhance project management skills.
This is a contract position which is convertible to full-time permanent employment within or after contract duration.
