About the Role
In this role, you will manage end-to-end processes for two legal entities, ensuring precision and efficiency. You will prepare weekly cash forecasts and monthly cash flow analyses to guide strategic decisions, handle month-end closing journals, and collaborate with their Accounting Services team in India for timely and accurate reporting. Additionally, you will assist with annual budgeting exercises and post month-end journals for their group functions.You will maintain financial integrity by performing regular balance sheet reviews and verifying payments to uphold their high standards. You will create audited financial statements, annual XBRL filings, and quarterly TP scorecards, as well as oversee quarterly GST, monthly WHT filings, and prepare corporate tax schedules. As the superuser for their employee reimbursement claim system, you will ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement. You will also respond to queries from the CFO, Group Accounting, auditors, and tax agents, providing expert support. Moreover, you will engage in ad hoc accounting projects, including system and internal control testing.
Skills and Experience Needed
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial forecasting. Strong skills in cash flow analysis, budgeting, and month-end closing are essential. Prior experience using Blackline and / or Chrome River will come as an advantage for the role. Experience in preparing audited financial statements, XBRL filings, and managing tax filings is also required. Excellent communication skills are crucial for handling queries from senior management and external stakeholders. Versatility in handling miscellaneous accounting projects and ensuring compliance is important. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certifications being an advantage, will be beneficial.
