Overview
Due to a massive extension of our business, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Business Development Manager to support our business development team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction, assist in planning and implementing effective sales strategies. He/she should also be able to conduct in-depth market research and identify potential leads in driving our growth strategies and expanding our market presence.
To be able to perform in this job role, He/she should have excellent communication and presentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the Business Development Manager in planning and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Conduct regular business reviews, Develop the online sales channel for the Singapore market.
- Conduct store checks on sales performance and service level.
- Formulate, implement & execute Trade marketing plans for the Singapore market/key accounts (including Travel Retail)
- Coordinate with internal and external team members with allocated resources, Work closely with Marketing team on development of Trade programs (POSM, regional banded packs, etc), with the appointed distributor/s to deliver the annual sell-in and sell-out budgets set within allocated resources.
- Sales performance monitoring and assurance of Service level management.
- Provide internal team training to reporting members and improve the team’s performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record with 2-3 years’ experience in sales or key account management experience, preferably in FMCG / Pharma channel
- Experience with supermarket, convenience stores, Travel retail or pharmacy channel clients will be an advantage.
- Trade Marketing experience, Distributor management experience will be an added advantage.
- Independent, self-motivator and determine to succeed in a challenging environment.
- Good analytical skills to identify sales gaps/opportunities
- Proficient in MS office suite.
- Possess Class 3 Driving license.
