Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, the incumbent supports the Human Resources Department in the full spectrum of human resource function (talent acquisition, on boarding, benefits administration, associate engagement initiatives, training administration).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle full spectrum of human resources functions, operations and administrative matters in the department
- Partner and support departments on human resources processes, initiatives and programs, manpower planning, performance management and talent development
- Ensure compliance in safety management measures by conducting inspection walks within the Hotel
- Maintain and update personnel, employment and monthly training records of associates.
- Co-ordinate training participation and facilitate application of training grant via TP Gateway
- Track and manage progress of funding claims
- Conduct basic training (eg. Orientation, Core Value and Service Excellence)
- Plan, organise and co-ordinate associate engagement activities
- Maintain and upkeep staff welfare and benefits
- Handle the recruitment and selection process which includes drafting of job descriptions, posting of job advertisements, arranging for interviews, participating in interviews etc
- Prepare employment contracts and other HR related correspondences
- Handle all medical claims including (but not limited to) record and follow up on claim status
- Collaborate with respective industry partners on recruitment and internship programmes
- Prepare monthly reports
- Establish and maintain excellent associate relationship
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least Diploma in Human Resource Management
- IHRP-certified professional
- At least 2 Year(s) of relevant working experience in HR, with Hospitality industry experience will be advantageous
- Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Be well-versed in Microsoft and has an eye for details
- Conscientious Individual with cheerful personality
