Test Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Test Strategy Execution:Develop and implement test strategies with product owners.
   Write JBehave scripts, execute tests, manage defects, and support live verification.
   
2. Banking Domain Expertise:Create comprehensive test plans and detailed end-to-end test scenarios.
   Execute tests manually and through automation.
   
3. Collaboration and Attention to Detail:Participate in project meetings and discussions.
   Ensure timely, high-quality project outputs.
   
4. Testing and Defect Management:Perform manual or automated tests.
   Log and resolve defects promptly.
   Generate reports and training materials.
   

Job Duties

1. Test Scenario Management:Design, develop, execute, and maintain detailed test scenarios and cases for UAT.
   
2. JBehave Scripting:Write test cases in JBehave for agile projects.
   
3. Utilize Testing Tools:Use JIRA, Confluence, etc., to manage project status.
   
4. Application Testing:Test web and mobile applications in the banking domain with a focus on quality and timeliness.
   
5. Defect Management:Detect, report, and track defects, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.
   
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:Engage proactively with all stakeholders to clarify and resolve issues.
   
7. Documentation:Maintain and update project documentation.
   

Required Experience

• Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year in web and mobile application testing in banking.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to create end-to-end scenarios and test cases from complex requirements.
• Methodology Knowledge: Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Technical Skills:Experience with Selenium or Appium for automation QA.
  Understanding of Java and VB scripting (advantageous).
  
• QA Processes: Proficient with QA processes and JIRA.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong verbal and written skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Organizational Skills: Team player with good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
