We are seeking a diligent and experienced Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our building facilities, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. Your attention to detail and thoroughness will be crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the building, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers and ensure proper waste management practices are followed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a clear and tidy appearance.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Any other duties / tasks / projects as assigned related to your role.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cleaner or janitor, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their safe handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks according to deadlines.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
