Responsibilities:
- Involved in all aspects relating to the Tender, Design, and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings
- In charge of the design of Concrete and Steel Structures
- Assist Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
- Prepare, Issue, and Evaluate Tender packages
- Coordinate with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors
- Address site issues related to design
- Liaise with Consultants and sub-contractors
- Provide direction and coaching to other junior team members
- Manage timely submission and approvals from local authorities
- Responsible for ensuring to remain technically competent with current practices and engineering trends within the industry.
Requirement
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Master in Structural Engineering
- 8-10 years of Design and Construction experience
- Having Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and span roof trusses experiences
- Site experience in piling works, Sub-structure, and Superstructure work for reinforcing concrete and Steel structures and Precast structures
- Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyor
- Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors
- Experience with checking shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and ability to do detailed Design and work in a team and able to provide details for cad
- Able to do Tender / Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Preparation, and Managing the sub-contract tender packages and Lead the team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design
- Conversant with the Local Authorities requirements for Civil and Structural submissions
- Being conversant with other country codes is preferable
- Willing to travel, if required
