Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will manage and overall in charge of the Tank Cleaning Department & liaise with local regulatory officials when necessary and shall be required to contribute to the overall efficiency of the business operations.
- Organization and planning of company requirements related to chemical & environmental science research.
- Implementation of environmental, health and safety regulations within the organization.
- Management of wastewater treatment process.
- Management and monitoring of COD, VOC, pH, TDS, levels.
- Control & monitoring of laboratory analysis, sampling & testing procedure to determine the efficacy of treatment plant operation. Report waste disposal e-tracking submission to NEA.
- Analysis of SDS and documentation of cleaning procedures.
- Oversee wastewater treatment process.
- Manage and control processes in cleaning, disposal, and waste treatment of cleaning plant.
- Training and supervision of new staff on handling chemicals, water recycling, waste disposal, and managing all processes on related issues with care.
Requirements
1. Good degree/diploma from recognized tertiary institutions in Chemical Engineering or Environmental & Water Technology.
2. With 2 to 3 years’ experience.
3. Intelligent with a broad perspective.
4. Meticulous, systematic, and diligent.
5. Strong interest in operations management.
