The job responsibilities of a developer would involve:
- Setup control-M across SIT and UAT regions
- Execute EOD during SIT and UAT windows of VN Foundation Build.
- Communicate with all stakeholders, upstream/downstream system during EOD execution and provide completion report with details of issues/abends during EOD
- Fix and suggest if any improvement is required in the EOD cycle and engage with development and Environment team for any improvement suggestion
- Weekly update on the status of the deliverables with Environment and Production Assurance Lead
- Handle escalation for batch & failed issues
Skills / Qualifications
- Mainframe Cobol knowledge
- Strong ERP & OKR tool knowledge -e.g. Leapsome, Monday preferred
- Ability to do Analysis, Hands on Development and Test
- Prior work experience / knowledge on trade platforms
- Functional knowledge in Credit Card Ecosystem
- Understand differences of roles in Agile methodology
- Understand concept working with CardLink and knowledge in functional programming (authorization, settlement, cards processes, etc) for issuing and acquiring
- Good experience on programming paradigms such as object oriented, functional and batch management
- Experience with Unit testing frameworks
- Experience with building global and scalable trade platforms with optimal code management practices
- Sound knowledge on various key encryption algorithms and key management is required
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
